Standard Chartered Bank has very recently subscribed to Grameenphone's BlackBerry service to avail the advanced communication solutions.
Grameenphone has recently introduced BlackBerry® for the first time in Bangladesh. The BlackBerry® is an integrated wireless solution, which enables secure converged Voice and Data services to its valued subscribers. The BlackBerry® solution consists of smart phones integrated with software that enables access to a suite of data and communication services. BlackBerry® is a proven product worldwide and it has been found to assimilate seamlessly with corporate email accounts, thus offering a simple and secure way to communicate using the EDGE/GPRS network.
Standard Chartered Bank is one of the first valued customers of Grameenphone, that has opted for the BlackBerry service under Business Solutions platform.
The agreement was signed by Osman Morad, Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bangladesh, and Anders Jensen, Chief Executive Officer, Grameenphone Ltd. on behalf of their respective organizations.
Ahmed A Shah, Managing Director & Head of Client Relationships, Naser Ezaz Bijoy, Country Chief Risk Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh, and Tania Ahmed, Head of Business Segment, Brands, along with other officials of Grameenphone, were also present at the signing ceremony.
